我们讨论一种近期提出的几何方法，用于在余维一叶状时空中构造非平凡二阶 Killing 张量，该方法将切片上的平凡 Killing 张量提升至整个流形。非平凡 Killing 张量的存在与广义光子面密切相关。该方法在一些已知情形中加以说明，并用于构造此前未知的 dilaton-axion 引力中 Nutty 双荷子的 Killing 张量。
