摘要
假设空间 X 与 X × A 具有相同的 Lusternik-Schnirelmann 范畴：cat(X × A)= cat(X)。则对于每一个空间 B，只要 A 的连接度足够大（仅依赖于 X），就有严格不等式 cat(X × (A ⋊ B)) < cat(X) + cat(A ⋊ B)。由此应用于部分验证 Iwase 关于空间与球面之乘积的范畴的一个猜想。
