本文考虑了在弹性介质中振荡的球体的动态阻抗。与周围介质结合的球体的Oestreicher阻抗公式可以简单地用与位移质量、纵波和横波相关的三个集总阻抗来表示。如果球体表面发生滑移而法向速度保持连续，则通过调整横向阻抗的定义以包含界面阻抗来修改阻抗公式。
