摘要
本文基于我于 2003 年 8 月在名古屋和城崎所作的演讲。我从个人视角概述 Goodwillie 关于拓扑模型范畴之间连续函子所关联塔的工作，并讨论其在周期同伦上的应用，如本人及 Arone-Mahowald 的工作所示。
