三体引力系统的瓦解：寿命统计

摘要
我们研究了随机初始条件下等质量三体问题中衰变过程的统计特性。与先前预期的“放射性衰变”相似性相反，我们在数值实验中获得的寿命分布呈现出重尾特征，即尾部不是指数型的，而是代数型的。计算得到的微分分布的幂律指数处于狭窄范围内，大约从-1.7到-1.4，具体取决于维里系数。我们考虑了我们的结果对已知处于瓦解边缘的三合星动力学研究的可能应用。
