Dehn手术与无隐藏对称的双曲纽结补空间

摘要
Neumann与Reid猜想恰有三个纽结补空间容许隐藏对称。本文建立了若干为该猜想提供证据的结果。我们的主要技术工具给出了对尖流形的无穷多填充产生容许隐藏对称的纽结补空间这一情形的障碍。应用这些工具,我们证明对任意双桥链补空间,其中一个尖的至多有限多个填充可被容许隐藏对称的纽结补空间覆盖。我们还证明八字形纽结补空间是体积小于且容许隐藏对称的唯一纽结补空间。随后我们给出两个独立的证明:在双曲纽结补空间中,只有八字形纽结补空间可容许隐藏对称并覆盖双桥链补空间的一个填充。这些证明均表明先前建立的技术工具可有效化。
