研究了有限群不可约表示集合上的随机游走。对于对称群和一般线性群，获得了尖锐的收敛速率界并证明了截断现象。作为相关结果，给出了有限一般线性群的Plancherel测度的渐近描述，并指出了这些随机游走与量子计算之间的联系。
