摘要
B. Magajna 与 J. Schweizer 分别于 1997 年和 1999 年证明，紧算子 C*-代数可由如下性质刻画：在其上的每个 Hilbert C*-模中，每个范数闭（分别地，与其双正交补重合的）子模自动为正交直和项。我们进一步发现了 Hilbert C*-模范畴在 C*-代数上的泛性质，这些性质精确地刻画了紧算子 C*-代数。
