本文提出了一个弦论框架，用于阐释 Hausel 和 Rodriguez-Villegas 以及 de Cataldo、Hausel 和 Migliorini 关于特征簇上同调的工作。该构建的核心要素是将 Hitchin 模空间的上同调与局部 Calabi-Yau 三维流形中的 BPS 态进行识别。这是对 2011 年 Isaac Newton 研究所模空间项目期间发表的几次演讲的总结。
