1949年，Zykov提出了第一个显式构造具有任意染色数的无三角形图的方法。我们将Zykov图定义为任何由Zykov构造创建的图的诱导子图。我们基于称为splitting stable set的特定类型的稳定集，对Zykov图进行结构刻画。这表明识别该类问题是NP难的，但在输入图的树宽受限时可多项式时间判定。我们为Blanche Descartes构造提供了类似结果。
