在本注记中证明了如下结果。可分的 L-嵌入空间——即可分 Banach 空间，其在自己的双对偶中补且两个补子空间之间的范数是可加的——具有性质 (X)，而由 Godefroy 与 Talagrand 的结果可知，这蕴含了该空间作为预对偶的唯一性。
