我们讨论 n 阶行列式多项式的幂中零系数的存在性。D. G. Glynn 证明了若 m = p-1（p 为素数），则行列式多项式的第 m 次幂的系数全非零。我们证明当 n ≥ 3 时其逆命题也成立。证明是相当初等的。
