摘要
在本文中我们研究最小的具有中间增长的 Mealy 自动机，它首先由最后两位作者考虑。我们描述了它定义的自动变换幺半群，给出了其（球体积）增长函数的生成级数的公式，并给出了其增长函数的精确渐近式，即 [ F(n) \sim 2^{5/2} 3^{3/4} \pi^{-2} n^{1/4} \exp{\pi\sqrt{n/6}} ]，且左端与右端之比当 时趋于 1。
