Jones-Wenzl 幂等元是 Temperley-Lieb 平面代数中的重要元素，但写出其具体形式颇为复杂。我们将提出一种新的平面代数，即 pop-switch 平面代数，它包含 Temperley-Lieb 平面代数。该代数的构造受 Jones 关于型图平面代数思想的启发。在 pop-switch 平面代数的幂等元张量范畴中，第个 Jones-Wenzl 幂等元同构于由个仅含垂直弦的图构成的直和。
