摘要
MAJORANA合作组正在建造MAJORANA DEMONSTRATOR，一个超低频本底、模块化、HPGe探测器阵列，质量44.8公斤（其中29.7公斤富集>88%的Ge-76），用于搜索Ge-76的无中微子双贝塔衰变。下一代吨量级基于Ge的无中微子双贝塔衰变搜索将探测倒置质量层级区域的中微子质量尺度。MAJORANA DEMONSTRATOR旨在展示一条实现在2039 keV的Q值附近4 keV感兴趣区域内本底率低至或低于1 count/tonne/year的路径。MAJORANA DEMONSTRATOR采用模块化实施以便易于扩展到下一代实验。本文介绍了用DEMONSTRATOR获取的首次数据。
