MAJORANA Demonstrator的高压测试

摘要

MAJORANA合作组正在建造MAJORANA Demonstrator,一个超低本底、44公斤模块化高纯锗(HPGe)探测器阵列,用于搜索Ge-76中的无中微子双贝塔衰变。在MAJORANA Demonstrator背景下,研究了高压诱导的表面微放电现象。该效应可能损坏前端电子学或模拟探测器信号。为确保正确性能,每条高压电缆和馈通必须能够提供高达5 kV的HPGe探测器工作电压而不出现放电。开展了研发测量以理解测试系统并确定高压路径的最佳设计配置,包括电缆布局的不同改进和馈通法兰型号选择。对将在MAJORANA Demonstrator中使用的每条电缆和馈通进行了表征,并研究了MAJORANA Demonstrator调试阶段的微放电效应。已实现稳定配置,电缆和连接器能够提供HPGe探测器工作电压而不出现放电。
