摘要
MAJORANA 合作组正在建造 MAJORANA 演示装置,这是一个超低本底、40 千克模块化高纯锗探测器阵列,用于在锗中搜寻无中微子双贝塔衰变。鉴于下一代吨级锗基无中微子双贝塔衰变搜寻将探测反质量序区域的中微子质量标度,该演示装置的一个主要目标是展示一条前进路径,以在 2039 keV 的 Q 值周围 4 keV 感兴趣区域内实现等于或低于 1 计数/吨/年的本底率。本文讨论了该演示装置的当前状态及其完成计划。
