9-流形上接触结构的存在性

我们给出闭可定向 9-流形 M 容许几乎接触结构的充要条件。这些条件用 M 的 Stiefel-Whitney 类及 M 的其他更精细同伦不变量表述。根据 Borman、Eliashberg 和 Murphy 的一个基本结果，M 容许几乎接触结构当且仅当 M 容许过扭曲接触结构。因此，我们给出 M 容许过扭曲接触结构的充要条件，并证明若 N 是另一个与 M 同伦等价的闭 9-流形，则 M 容许过扭曲接触结构当且仅当 N 也容许。此外，对 M 的第 i 个整 Stiefel-Whitney 类 W_i(M)，我们证明若 W_3(M) = 0 则 W_7(M) = 0。
