拓扑有序相与其准粒子激发（任意子）性质的变化相关。我们在投影纠缠对态（PEPS）框架内研究这些关系，并展示了任意子的凝聚和禁闭如何将局域规范对称性约化为整体在位对称性。我们还研究了这种整体对称性对准粒子激发的作用。作为一个副产品，我们观察到这种对称性约化效应也可以应用于一维系统，并利用矩阵积态（MPS）为具有对称性的相分类带来了引人入胜的物理解释。我们详细研究了在位对称性的情况。
