摘要
充分大的有限域中的任意元素是否都能表示为该域中两个 次幂之和？在本文中，我们重述该问题的一些历史，涉及分圆、费马大定理与对角方程。随后，我们给出两个证明，一个是新的初等证明，另一个更为经典，基于傅里叶分析以及有限域理论中一个非平凡估计的应用。在语境与并置中，二者各有其优。
