摘要
本文讨论分析力学的一些模态介入。我首先回顾拉格朗日、哈密顿与哈密顿-雅可比方法的基本方面。随后讨论两种模态介入；二者均与 David Lewis 关于模态尤其是反事实条件的工作相关。其一是哈密顿-雅可比理论使用系综（即可能初始条件的集合）的方式。该系综集合的结构尚待哲学家探究。其二是拉格朗日与哈密顿方法的变分原理通过提及逆定律的动态演化来陈述运动定律。这似乎违背了“任何实际真理，特别是实际定律，均由实际事实成就”的原理。尽管这一威胁至少对简单力学系统可予避免，但仍值得细察；尤其因其引出若干开放问题。
