摘要
本文发展了 4-球中 Willmore 曲面的 Willmore 序列理论。我们证明在适当条件下该序列必须终止。在此情形下，该 Willmore 曲面要么是到复射影空间全纯曲线的 twistor 投影，要么是 4-空间中具有平面端点的极小曲面的反演。这些结果对先前各作者关于具有非平凡法丛的 Willmore 球面与 Willmore 环面的刻画工作给出了统一解释。
