如今,安全和能耗被视为设计和构建计算系统最重要的参数。当今的攻击针对计算系统的不同层(即软件和硬件)。将新型晶体管技术引入集成电路设计是有益的,特别是对于低能耗要求。新器件具有独特的特征和属性,可提供安全优势。然而,这些属性可能被对手利用以设计更强的攻击。因此,需要充分研究这些技术的优点和缺点。本文展示了隧道场效应晶体管(TFET)技术的面积和功耗效率,并分析了其安全方面。
