幺半群的共尾扩张推广了群的扩张、幺半群的特殊Schreier扩张以及群被幺半群的Leech正规扩张。它们与群扩张共享许多性质，包括当核为交换群时的Baer和概念。然而，与群扩张（具有固定的核和余核）不同，它们之间可能存在非平凡态射。我们探索了共尾扩张范畴的结构，并将其与二阶上同调群的类似物联系起来。最后，将序结构与加法结构结合，给出了一个由扩张构成的逆半群的指标族。这些逆半群进而可以组合成一个逆范畴。
