摘要
本项目的目标是比较高中物理课堂中使用的教学风格及其评估方法的有效性。我们希望确定那些针对不同人口统计学背景的学生行之有效和无效的中学物理教学方法。我们向美国中西部各州的高中物理教师发放了调查问卷，询问有关学生准备情况、课堂教学法、评估和专业发展的问题。我们发现，无论是在农村、郊区还是城市，物理教师在这些领域的实践均因学校所在地而异。我们的结果使我们能够报告这些人口统计区域物理课程中最常见的成功实践。
