摘要
OpenAI 近期发布了 GPT-4（即 ChatGPT plus），其被证明是生成式人工智能（GAI）的一小步，却是通用人工智能（AGI）的一大步。自 2022 年 11 月正式发布以来，ChatGPT 迅速吸引了大量用户并获得了广泛的媒体报道。这种前所未有的关注也促使众多研究者从各个方面探究 ChatGPT。据 Google Scholar 统计，已有超过 500 篇文章标题中含 ChatGPT 或在摘要中提及它。有鉴于此，亟需一篇综述，而我们的工作填补了这一空白。总体而言，本文首次对 ChatGPT 进行综述，全面回顾其底层技术、应用与挑战。此外，我们展望了 ChatGPT 如何演进以实现通用 AIGC（即 AI 生成内容），这将是 AGI 发展的重大里程碑。
