利用奇点消解，对 X 上正线丛 L 的任意测试构形，构造了 C^{1,1} 类的测地射线。该构造归结为寻找相应 Monge-Ampere 方程的下解。在几何上，这是通过在消解上使用一个在例外除子之外为平凡的正线丛来实现的。
