摘要
我们证明球面的同伦群中Kervaire不变量为1的元素仅存在于至多126维中。根据Browder定理，这意味着Kervaire不变量为1的光滑框架流形仅存在于2、6、14、30、62维以及可能的126维中。除126维外，这解决了一个代数拓扑中长期存在的问题。
