在图 中，若顶点子集所导出的子图顶点度至多为 1，则称其为分解集。最大分解集是指基数最大的分解集。图 的分解数记为 ，即 的最大分解集的基数。涉及统计图中某类给定子结构数目的极值问题在过去几十年中一直是极值图论研究的热点。本文确定了具有给定分解数的树中最大分解集的最大数目，以及达到该最大值的极值树。
