摘要
关于双曲纽结的异常手术斜率集合，Lackenby 和 Meyerhoff 证明了其最大基数为 10，最大直径为 8。他们的证明部分借助计算机，且这两个界是同时达到的。本文注意到，直径界 8 蕴含了异常手术斜率集合的最大基数界 10。这源于以下已知事实：对于一个双曲纽结，在边缘环面上存在一个斜率，使得所有异常手术斜率与该斜率的距离至多为 2。我们还证明，在一般情形下，上述特定斜率可以取为双曲纽结补集中一个环面环上最短测地线所代表的斜率。
