摘要
S. Bigelow 证明了辫群是线性的。也就是说，辫群到某个域的一般线性群存在一个忠实表示。利用这一点，我们从先前已知的结果推出：带穿孔的球面的映射类群与超椭圆映射类群是线性的。特别地，亏格为2的闭可定向曲面的映射类群是线性的。
