摘要
帽子猜测数是由 Winkler 引入的帽子猜测游戏所定义的一种图不变量。利用一种涉及 Erdős 超图边密度定理的新的顶点分解论证，我们证明了所有外平面图（outerplanar graphs）的帽子猜测数小于 。我们还定义了层状平面图（layered planar graphs）类，它包含外平面图，并证明了每个层状平面图都具有有界的帽子猜测数。
