论平均场近似下的自由能

摘要
我们比较了基于最小化适当构建的平均场自由能的两种广泛使用的平均场近似表述。我们以反铁磁 Ising 模型为例表明，其中一种表述并不能保证存在底层的变分原理。这导致了一个严重的失效问题，即直接最小化相应的平均场自由能会得出不正确的结果。
