摘要
我们考察由n个非严格互不相同的正整数的第n个与第k个初等对称多项式值相等的等式。对于k<n，我们证明该方程总有解，但仅有限个解。进一步我们考察由n个非严格互不相同的正整数的第n个与第(n-2)个初等对称多项式值相等的等式。特别地，我们证明当n趋于无穷大时，该方程的解的个数趋于无穷大。
