多维积分理论中的一个基本问题关心在给定域上求积的计算。在最简单的情况下，当在平行体上积分时，通过重复积分即可轻松完成。在 Lebesgue 积分的情况下，该问题通过 Fubini 定理轻松解决。而在 Riemann 积分的情况下，情况变得复杂，由于 Jordan 测度与 Lebesgue 测度之间的差异。本文中，我们展示在许多重要的 Riemann 积分应用中，能够建立一种修改版重复积分定理，其中 Fubini 定理的威力相当于 Lebesgue 积分的情况。
