H. Masur 和 J. Smillie 精确证明了哪些奇点指数列表源自 pseudo-Anosov 映射类。为了寻找自由群外自同构的类似定理，Handel 和 Mosher 提出疑问：每个连通的、单纯复形的、具有 $(2r-1)$ 个顶点的图是否都是 Out(F_r) 中某个 fully irreducible 外自同构的理想 Whitehead 图？我们通过为每个 $r$ 展示连通 $(2r-1)$ 顶点图的例子来否定地回答这个问题，这些图不是 Out(F_r) 中任何 fully irreducible 外自同构的理想 Whitehead 图。在证明过程中，我们还开发了用于“构造和分类自由群的 Fully Irreducible 外自同构”中的工具，以完全回答秩为三的情形。
