摘要
本文证明了在边长较大的至少三维离散环面上，简单随机游走的覆盖时间波动受 Gumbel 极值分布支配。这一结果曾在 Aldous & Fill 的著作中被猜想。我们还推导了一些推论，定性描述了覆盖是“如何”发生的。此外，我们开发了 Sznitman 引入的随机交错模型与环面上随机游走之间的一种新的、更强的耦合。该耦合用于证明覆盖时间结果，其本身也具有独立意义。
