素数阶群与 Bateman-Horn 猜想

摘要
作为有限单群分类的推论，素数度置换群的分类已基本完成，仅剩如下问题：何时 的自然度 为素数。我们基于 Bateman-Horn 猜想提出启发式论证与计算证据，以支持如下猜想：对每个素数 ，即便限制 取素数值，也存在无穷多个此形式的素数。类似的论证与结果适用于出现在 Dixon 与 Zalesskii 关于素数度线性群工作中的单群 、 与 的参数。
