叉比、Anosov 表示与 Teichmuller 空间上的能量泛函

我们研究曲面群的 Hitchin 表示与极大辛表示，它们均可视为 Fuchsian 表示的推广。我们证明相应的能量泛函在 Teichmuller 空间上是恰当的（proper）。我们还证明映射类群在相应模空间上的作用是恰当的。这两个结果源于这些表示具有良好位移性（well displacing），而这是它们与叉比相关联的后果。我们陈述了一些应用。
