摘要

1965 年，Buchberger 定义了 Gröbner 基及其计算算法。尽管起步缓慢，但到了八十年代，Gröbner 基已成为涉及多项式的符号计算的主要工具，也是通过所谓的 Gröbner 形变技术研究理想和簇的理论工具。由行列式定义的环和代数簇是交换代数、代数几何和不变量理论中最经典的对象之一。到了八十年代末，计算行列式理想的 Gröbner 基的时机已经成熟。我们将讲述如何识别行列式理想的（普遍）Gröbner 基，以及 Bernd Sturmfels 及其合作者在这一事业中发挥的关键作用。
