我们探讨了一种系统方法来研究动能算符中具有位置依赖有效质量（PDEM）的一维薛定谔方程。传统的自由粒子问题揭示了一个新的有趣情形：在质量背景存在下，会出现束缚态形成的信号。我们还讨论了坐标变换的常质量薛定谔方程、其与 PDEM 形式的匹配以及由此产生的歧义参数解耦。这为文献中已知的许多精确结果以及大量新结果提供了一种统一方法。
