摘要

我们研究平面上分别具有 p 和 q 个顶点的两个多边形之间的最大交点数。当 p 或 q 为偶数，或者多边形不必为简单多边形时，情况相当简单且已知；但当 p 和 q 均为奇数且两个多边形均为简单多边形时，问题更为困难。对于所有奇数 p 和 q，猜想的最大值为 $(p-1)(q-1)+2$ 。
