噪声中埋藏信号的检测

摘要
本文研究了噪声存在下的信号检测问题，特别侧重于中子活化分析。该问题在于决定“信号加背景”假设与“无信号”假设哪一个更能拟合数据，并量化相关的信号幅度或检测限。我们的解决方案基于使用贝叶斯推断来检验不同的假设。
