后牛顿Dedekind椭球的轴对称情形

摘要
我们考虑了轴对称情形下Dedekind椭球的后牛顿近似。Chandrasekhar与Elbert(1974, 1978)所采用的方法排除了在轴对称极限下找到均匀旋转(形变)椭球的可能性，尽管在轴对称点处存在解。我们对他们的工作进行了扩展，允许存在这种极限的可能性。
