我们综述 arXiv:1308.3444 和 arXiv:1104.1891。量子可积系统谱的结构对于理解其性质至关重要。Baxter 在其 1971 年的研讨论文中指出，“冰模型”的谱具有涉及多项式的非常显著的形式。随后有人猜想类似的多项式可用于描述更一般量子可积系统的谱（arXiv:math/9810055）。我们讨论这些（广义 Baxter）多项式如何在表示论中自然出现。这一结果最近导致了该猜想的证明。
