这是一篇综述文章，描述了非线性波方程自相似爆裂稳定性研究中的谱理论方面。在自相似解附近的线性化会导出一个真正非自伴的算子，难以分析。本文的主要目标是通俗地阐述目前唯一已知能够提供充分谱信息以完成稳定性分析的方法。本综述基于 2022 年 9 月在奥地利 Obergurgl 举行的几何色散偏微分方程暑期学校中的迷你课程。
