除了足球锦标赛的复杂性外，还识别出了一些规律性。这些规律性涉及进球球员的进球分布和比赛中的进球分布。特别是，进球球员的进球分布很好地符合Zipf-Mandelbrot定律，暗示了与反常衰减的关联。
