摘要
在许多物理问题或应用中，需要研究在对称群G作用下不变的函数，而如果知道定义轨道空间及其分层（strata）的方程和不等式，这最好在G的轨道空间中进行。本文回顾了P矩阵如何根据完整性基（integrity basis）定义，以及如何利用它来确定定义轨道空间及其分层的方程和不等式。研究表明，P矩阵是构造性不变量理论的一个有用工具，事实上，当完整性基仅部分已知时，通过计算P矩阵元素，能够完全确定完整性基。
