南极 Keck 阵列偏振计的光学表征

摘要

Keck 阵列 (SPUD) 是一组微波偏振计,在南极进行观测,旨在度角尺度上寻找印刻在宇宙微波背景 (CMB) 中作为 B 模式偏振的暴胀特征。前三台 Keck 阵列接收机部署于 2010-2011 年南半球夏季,随后在 2011-2012 年夏季季节又部署了两台新接收机,完成了完整的五接收机阵列。目前所有五台接收机均在 150 GHz 频率下观测。Keck 阵列采用了经过现场验证的 BICEP/BICEP2 策略,使用小型、低温、同轴折射光学元件,在保持大视场的同时提供了卓越的系统误差控制能力。该设计允许利用地面上的微波源对远场光学性能进行全面表征。我们描述了表征主波束形状以及共址正交偏振探测器对之间波束形状不匹配的努力,并讨论了测得的微分波束参数对 CMB 分析中温度至偏振泄漏的影响。
