BICEP2 / Keck Array XI:BK15数据集中的束流表征与温度到偏振泄漏

摘要

对宇宙微波背景(CMB)偏振的精确测量要求对仪器系统误差进行极度控制。在 companion paper 中,我们给出了 BICEP2 与 Keck Array 实验截至并包含 2015 观测季(BK15)的宇宙学约束,得到了迄今最深的 CMB 偏振图以及对张量-标量比的统计灵敏度 σ(r)=0.020\sigma(r) = 0.020。在本工作中,我们表征了束流,并约束了三个 BK15 频率(95、150 和 220 GHz)下主束形状失配导致的潜在系统误差污染。使用了 2010–2015 年获取的 7,360 个不同束流模式的远场图来测量差分束流参数,并预测温度到偏振泄漏对 BK15 B 模式图的贡献。在利用 BK15、Planck 和 WMAP 图分离天空成分的多频率、多成分似然分析中,我们发现将此预测泄漏加入模拟会引入偏差 Δr=0.0027±0.0019\Delta r = 0.0027 \pm 0.0019。未来使用更高质量束流图以及改进技术来检测 CMB 数据中的此类泄漏,将大幅降低该不确定性,从而实现 BICEP Array 及其他计划明确探测大场暴胀的实验所需的系统误差控制水平。
